Consumers who are looking a little ragged around the edges may consider treating themselves to some non-injectable fillers this New Year, experts have suggested.
While many may be reluctant to go under the knife, a combination of different injectable fillers can help to rejuvenate the face, according to Dominic Brandy, founding medical director of the Skin Centre Medical Spa in the US.
"Facial rejuvenation using injectable fillers is becoming one of the most popular non-surgical anti-ageing alternatives available today and its popularity will continue to grow," he claimed.
"Most patients understand that the improvement is temporary but they are very pleased with the results because injectable fillers offer added fullness and volume that often times cannot be achieved through cosmetic surgery."
Possible treatments include
Botox and Restylane, which is a refining dermal filler used to eliminate wrinkles and facial folds.
Another treatment is Juvederm, a long-lasting filler comprised predominantly of hyaluronic acid that can be used to help contour and provide volume to facial features.
