Good bras vital to good health

The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) has underlined how important a properly-fitted bra can be to a woman's health, according to the Independent.

In what should serve as a warning to those who have had or are considering cosmetic surgery, the BCA warned that a wrong size bra could lead to back pain, abrasions, breathing problems, breast pain and poor posture.

According to spokesman Tim Hutchful, bras are like "suspension bridges".

"You need a well-engineered bra so your shoulders don't end up doing all the work," he said.

"Bras that don't fit will affect the shoulders and chest, and will almost certainly cause back pain as you get older."

While this advice affects all women, it should resonate even more so with those who have just had their bust increased or decreased in size as it is likely that they will have to invest in some new bras.

It recently emerged that Manchester women are more likely to have their breasts enhanced than those from London.ADNFCR-1112-ID-18915055-ADNFCR
