A large number of women would like to be given gift vouchers for cosmetic surgery this Christmas, it has been claimed.
A survey by Transform Cosmetic Surgery found that the most popular procedure sought by women this Christmas is
botox, while one in five girls want to receive breast implants.
Other cosmetic procedures on girls' wish-lists include teeth whitening, facelifts, nose jobs and liposuction, the Daily Star reports.
Shami Thomas, a spokeswoman for Transform Cosmetic Surgery, told the newspaper: "The run-up to Christmas is usually busy, but this year we've seen it grow dramatically.
"We've never had so many inquiries from men wanting to buy gift vouchers for partners, because they know women want to look and feel their best."
The survey suggests that more than a third of men are considering giving their partners gift vouchers for cosmetic procedures.
Recent figures from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons show that Britons spend $1 billion (£649 million) a year on cosmetic surgery.
