Fruit-filled drinks provide anti-ageing benefits

Drinks containing fruit and vegetable juices can keep you looking young, according to nutritionists.

Consumers who are keen to keep their skin looking in tip-top condition until their next face treatment should consider antioxidant-packed juice drinks which are full of natural ingredients to boost the health and hydration of skin.

Antioxidants help to control the levels of free radicals in the body, which are one of the main causes of cellular ageing and degeneration.

Professional nutritionist Stuart Roberts commented: "It is now widely known that free radicals are bad for you, yet few people actually realise how completely they dictate our health and accelerate the ageing process.

"Ensuring that you get a good amount of antioxidants from your diet is essential in keeping these free radicals under control."

Mr Roberts revealed that one of the best ways to get plenty of antioxidants is to eat multi-coloured fruits and vegetables or drink their juices.
