Air hostess's Botox turns her life around

An air hostess whose life was almost ruined by a debilitating bladder problem has Botox to thank for saving her career, reports Wales Online.

Clare Isaac, 37, suffers from severe overactive bladder syndrome which meant that she endured years of torment and failed treatment.

She constantly felt like she had to pass water to the extent where she couldn't sleep and had to leave her job.

But finally Ms Isaac found a solution that works - Botox injections to help "freeze" the muscle that makes her rush to the bathroom.

"It cost about £1,500 and is not a cure [but] it worked and it is a massive relief to get my life back on track and get back to work," she told the website.

"I was able to get a good night’s sleep, getting up only a couple of times to go to the loo.

"Although I experienced a small amount of discomfort, the treatment wasn't painful and the result has been absolutely life-changing."

Botox is more regularly used in cosmetic surgery to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
